Overview

An implant is a foundation, and foundations are decided by what will stand on them. We design the finished crown first, then place the implant in the position that crown requires — not the other way around.

What it gives you

  • Position planned in a cone-beam scan and executed through a printed surgical guide
  • Bone volume and nerve position known before, not discovered during
  • Guided placement means smaller openings and shorter healing
  • The crown is designed before the surgery, so nothing is improvised afterwards
Process4 stages
  1. 01

    Cone-beam scan

A low-dose 3D scan showing bone volume, density and the exact path of the nerve.

  2. 02

    Digital planning

The crown is designed first; the implant position follows from it. You see the plan before you agree to it.

  3. 03

    Guided placement

A printed guide fixes the angle and depth. Surgery is quieter and shorter than a freehand approach.

  4. 04

    Healing and fit

Three to six months of integration, then the crown that was designed at the start.

Technology

Cone-beam imaging, guided surgery and in-house milling. The same digital file carries the case from the first scan to the final crown, so nothing is re-measured by hand.

Questions3
Is the surgery painful?
It is done under local anaesthetic and most people describe it as less demanding than an extraction. Guided placement means a smaller opening than freehand surgery.
What if there is not enough bone?
The scan tells us before we start. Grafting is sometimes needed, and sometimes a different position avoids it entirely — that is a decision the scan makes for us.
How long before I have a tooth?
A temporary is fitted the same day in most cases. The definitive crown follows integration, usually at three to six months.
