Why it exists
Elena Vogt spent eleven years in reconstructive practice before opening Aurea, and left for a specific reason: no practice in the city was willing to give a single case the number of appointments it genuinely needed. The economics of a fifteen-minute recall decide the dentistry long before the dentist does.
So the studio was built the other way round. Consultations run forty-five minutes. Every case starts with a photographic record and a written plan. Nothing irreversible happens at a first appointment, and a good proportion of first appointments end with the conclusion that nothing needs doing at all.

Diagnose longer than you treat
The hours spent measuring, photographing and planning are not preparation for the treatment. They are the treatment; what follows is execution.
Show the plan before you start
Every case is presented as a drawing, a scan or a wearable mock-up before anything is prepared. If you cannot picture the result, we have not finished planning it.
Prefer the reversible option
Where additive bonding will do the work of a prepared veneer, we bond. The first irreversible decision on a tooth starts a sequence that only runs one way.
Say when nothing is needed
A sound bite does not need straightening and a stable lesion does not need filling. Turning work down is the clearest signal a studio can give about whose interest it serves.
Instruments, not selling points.
Intraoral scanning, cone-beam imaging and in-house ceramics are here for one reason: they let a plan be decided in advance and then followed exactly. Technology that does not change a decision does not earn its place in the building.
